It is cultivating flexibility, patience, understanding and a sense of humor. It is not looking for perfection in each other. It is speaking words of appreciation and demonstrating gratitude in thoughtful ways. It is doing things for each other, not in the attitude of duty or sacrifice, but in the spirit of joy. It is forming a circle of love that gathers in the whole family. It is standing together facing the world. It is having a mutual sense of values and common objectives. It is at no time taking the other for granted the courtship should not end with the honeymoon, it should continue through all the years. It is remembering to say "I love you" at least once a day. In marriage the little things are the big things. Happiness in marriage is not something that just happens. It is always ready to endure whatever comes. It is always ready to excuse, to trust, to hope. Love takes no pleasure in other people’s faults but delights in the truth. It does not take offense, and it is not resentful. Love is never boastful or conceited it is never rude or selfish. Love is always patient and kind it is never jealous. The sharing of real interests – the ability to work on ideas together and to understand each other’s thoughts and dreams. The surest basis for partnership is friendship. If you accept sunshine and warmth, also accept thunder and lightning. Learn to see the greatness and the loveliness in one another. In friendship or in love, the two, side by side, raise hands together, to find what one can not reach alone. No human relationship gives one possession of another.Įvery two persons are absolutely different.
